Product Details
The Original Folio Briefcase reimagines Globe-Trotter’s heritage design as a sophisticated companion for modern organisation. Handcrafted in Hertfordshire, England, it is formed from our signature Vulcanised Fibreboard, a material celebrated for its remarkable strength and lightness for over a century.
Its structured silhouette is framed with Navy leather corners, a matching flat leather handle, and polished chrome rivets that reflect the signature detailing of the Original Collection. Protective foot studs at the base provide stability when placed upright, whether during meetings on the move or when stored neatly in the office.
The envelope-style lid opens with a smooth lift-lock mechanism, revealing an interior designed for clarity and order. The Briefcase accommodates up to four Original Document Sleeves, allowing each to act as its own compartment for effortless organisation. A soft neoprene-finish lining on the underside of the lid offers gentle protection while contrasting beautifully with the case’s structured form.
Weighing just 1.3 kg and measuring 37 × 26 × 9 cm, the Folio Briefcase is the perfect slim size for papers, notebooks, and small tablets.

Vulcanised Fibreboard
Lighter than aluminium and tougher than leather, Vulcanised Fibreboard is our unique proprietary material and is made from 14 layers of recycled paper bonded with zinc.
Corners
The iconic leather corners of our cases take five days to craft and complete. And are moulded using time-honoured machinery for optimum strength and form.
Handles
It’s quite fitting that our durable handles are made entirely by hand. With the core materials bonded together for 48 hours before construction even begins.
Serial plaque
Each case is truly one of a kind, individualised with its own unique serial number. Find it on a metal plaque inside your case, and use it to track your movements around the globe.
Lining
The inside of your case is an ode to your individual character. Durable and water resistant, the luxurious inner lining is meticulously crafted and can stay suited to the bag or customised to feel individual to you.
Locks
Each case comes with carbon steel locks so you can travel with peace of mind. Turn to a North-South position to unlock and East-West to lock.
